• Salena Stopper

Salena Stopper, a recent graduate from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, is one of the main authors to our blog and devotion feed. She is a very dedicated and fruitful Christian with a passion for women’s ministry, especially to her fellow lady peers and girls in the Junior and Senior High ministry at her church. She loves sharing her experiences with others and watching/helping people grow in their walk with God. She desires to be an inspiration to those around her, has a heart to serve, love and encourage, and dubs herself as a “wanna-be world changer.” We are proud to say that she is S.I.C!

• Rod Underwood

Rod Underwood, also one of Sicsociety Afilliates, is one of our monthly authors. Rod is currently Assistant Coach of the Portland Timber’s U23 team. He believes that we should glorify God, to never compromise God’s truth, be transparent in all parts of ministry, to continually evaluate the impact of the ministry, and to maintain balance between Family, Ministry, and Soccer. Rod believes that it is our choice in life should be to share the word of God. We are happy to have him and everything he does with SicSociety!

• Eunice Makinde

Formally a collegiate athlete at Concordia, Eunice had an outstanding career setting school records in both the outdoor 4×400 and outdoor 4×100 meter relays. Eunice also currently holds the school’s outdoor 100 meter and indoor 60 meter hurdle records. Her athletic abilities along with the athletic abilities of her teammates helped the school earn their first ever national title by becoming the NAIA Track and Field National Champions in 2011 and personally was a two-time NAIA All-American in the 100 meter hurdles and a one time All-American in the 60 meter hurdles. Aside from athletics, Eunice is active in women’s ministry, retention project management at the University level and loves to serve the Lord. SicSociety proudly represents Eunice as one of the authors!

• Steven Bustrin

Steven Bustrin is a Theology and Elementary Education Major at Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. He plays on the schools basketball team and is involved with ministry through his church. He believes that we are called to share the message of Jesus through representation of our daily lives and through the Gospel of the Bible. We are happy to have him contribute as an author and deal with sales of Merchandise. He is S.I.C!

• Janna Allen

Janna Allen is majoring in Nursing and minoring in Spanish at Concordia University  in Portland, Oregon. She is the Social Media and Marketing Director for the Office of Multicultural Services. In 2012, Janna won first place in Oratory at the State Championships of Arkansas and qualified to represent Arkansas at the National Speech and Debate Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana. She loves getting involved in serving others and has a passion in connecting with people and sharing God’s love. Janna is one of our writers and she is S.I.C!
